Bynan, officially the Province of Bynan, (Seketese: Provynçé á Bynan; Bynanese: Provyns á Bynan) is a province of Seketan. The southernmost province, Bynan straddles between the Bay of Bynan and the western basin of Lake Seketan. Bynan neighbours Fjeska to the east, Nelderjen to the north, Wilskland to the northwest, and internationally borders the Kingdom of Trjebia (FKT), Alquiya, and New Svealand. It is the fifth-most populated province, with a population of 682,608. The capital and largest city is Fevilla. Other major cities include Zynybec, Joghen, and Libek ná Lycyn.
The Duchy of Bynan emerged in the 6th century AD during the Secenic Dark Ages, beginning as a state centred on Fevilla. The duchy united with its neighbours to form the Secenic Confederation, and the duchy expanded westward during the Seco-Trjeb wars. Under the Nelbec Empire, the province became heavily industrialized and became the manufacturing centre of Seketan. Its modern boundaries were established in 1924 under the Second Seketese Republic.
The Assembly of Bynan is the provincial legislature responsible for day-to-day governance. The official language is Seketese, although Trjebian is widely spoken in the southwest portion of the province. The economy is primarily driven by manufacturing and industry, with support from tourism and agriculture.
