Nova Marina, is a Principality, City, Duchy and Merchant Republic at the very same time, and all four of these titles work together to keep eachother in shape. The Highest Level is the Principality, which controls Nova Marina, aswell as Hackwell Island and Jonesport, next is the Merchant Republic who only has juristriction on Nova Marina, next is the City Government, which is in charge of The city of Nova Marina, and lastly the Duchy, who’s title is currently held by Duke Oronge De Burgandy. Nova Marina was founded in 1850 by Limonaian Settlers, who arrived from the Limonaian colony of Alenveil. In 1905, as the Limonaian Empire was collapsing, the island declared independance and formed The Merchant Republic which is still used today 1925, the lord Prince struck a deal with King Anthony the first, which allowed them to become a Principality of PyeMcGowan, whilst still retaining their Merchant Republic.
