The Mirai Science and Technological Institute, abbreviated as MSTI, and colloquially called Mirai or Mirai Academy (native names: Mirai Wissenschaftlich-Technisches Institut (Illusian), Mirai Academia (Kazdelian and other Illuverendian languages), 未来の学園 (Mirai no Gakuen, Akarui)), is an Illuverendian private coeducational research university located in the city of Wissenschaftsgarten in the county of Valhallerens. It was established in 14 August 1942 by prolific Akarui Illuverendians, notably James Sorasaki, Sigismund Sato, Atsumi van Wisschanze, Atsushi Rockwell, and Kaori Mizutani. The university was named after the word mirai (未来), meaning "future".
