The Third Republic of Mexico (la Tercera República de Méxicoin spanish) or just Mexico, is a country in the southernwestern portion of North America. It is bordered to the northeast by Istastioner to the south and west by the Pacific Ocean; to the south by Guatemala, and Belize, Mexico covers 980,963 square kilometers (378,752 sq mi), making it the world's 30th-largest country by area; with approximately 60,539,535 inhabitants, it has the most Spanish speakers in the world.
Etymology
Mēxihco is the Nahuatl term for the heartland of the Aztec Empire, namely the Valley of Mexico and surrounding territories, with its people being known as the Mexica. The terms are plainly linked; it is generally believed that the toponym for the valley was the origin of the primary ethnonym for the Aztec Triple Alliance.

Economy
Mexico is a semi-developed country, with a high national GDP of $1.31 trillion. The per capita GDP of $21,638 ranks Lowly in the world, although the country also ranks highly in income inequality. The country has a untapped oil industry fueled by an abundance of natural resources and high productivity, as well as a Mixed-market economy that allows business to thrive. Mexico ranks lowly in civil rights, political freedom, and somewhat highly economic freedom. Mexico is a member of several international organizations, including the United Nations, The Organization of American States,and the World Assembly
Demographics & Culture
Throughout the 19th century, the population of Mexico had barely doubled. This trend continued during the first two decades of the 20th century. The 1872 census reported a loss of about 1 million inhabitants. The Third Mexican Revolution (c. 1867–1871) greatly impacted population increases. The growth rate increased dramatically between the 1930s and the 1980s, when the country registered growth rates of over 3% (1950–1980).
Mexican culture reflects the complexity of the country's history through the blending of indigenous cultures and the culture of Spain during Spain's 300-year colonial rule of Mexico. The cultural identity of Mexico has had its foundation in the mestizaje, of which the indigenous element is the core. In light of the various ethnicities that formed the Mexican people Many mexican Philosophers defined Mexico to be the melting pot of all races not only biologically but culturally as well.
