The Palingian State was a state in Central Nortua which succeeded the Kingdom of Palingia and existed from September 1961 to May 2000.
The state was founded after the military coup in 1961, after which the former general of the Palingian Armed Force Erich Meinhardt was appointed president, who ruled autocratically over Palingia until the end of his term in office. After the coup in 2000, the autocratic dictatorship ended and a transition to democracy began.
