The People’s Republic of Nastanovo or "Red Nastanovo" was the former Government of Nastanovo between 1926 and 1937 and during the Second Great War. It's establishment during the October Revolution was a result of the Nastnovian Sovereign Army's refusal to carry out the orders of Sovereign Dario Freire to put down a worker's strike and riot in the city of Nostalta, with this refusal the army turned on the Sovereign and together with the striking workers stormed the Marble Palace and nearly captured the Sovereign. Following the storming of the palace, the workers and soldiers held a small convention declaring the formation of a new political party to take the powers of the state and restore republicanism, with the influence of the worker's and their strike leadership taking precedent during the convention, the party was dubbed the Nastnovian Worker's League and reformed the army from the Nastnovian Sovereign Army to the Nastnovian Red Army, along with this, the People's Republic was declared and Nastanovo declared itself a socialist state in late October.
