Claudius V was the Emperor of Exponent from March to October, 1339. His reign is the shortest in Exponential history, lasting less than eight months.

Early Life

Claudius V was born on April 8, 1302, in the Imperial Palace in Paradise City. His mother passed away when he was just eight years old.

As the heir the the throne of Exponent, it was decided that he would be married as soon as possible. As such, at 15 he married Lucilla Pomponia, the daughter of Rufus Pomponius, a powerful patrician from Charvonia.

Reign

Claudius V ruled for only 8 months before he died of a hereditary heart condition.

Legacy

Claudius V was the shortest reigning monarch in the history of the Empire of Exponent.
