Big Brother Besmenia is a television reality game show that launched on June 10th, 2007 on VEGA. The show is a adaptation of Big Brother Vitosium.
Format
The show follows a group of contestants, known as "HouseGuests", that live together in a specially constructed house that is isolated from the outside world. The HouseGuests are continuously monitored during their stay in the house by live television cameras as well as personal audio microphones. Throughout the course of the competition, HouseGuests vote to nominate each-other with the audience voting to "evict" somebody from the house. The last remaining HouseGuest wins the competition and is awarded a cash prize of BS 500,000.
Production and broadcast
Big Brother Besmenia first aired between 2007 and 2010 and ended in August 2010. A new edition has been in production since 2019
