State Highway 301 (SH 301) is a minor state highway running through mostly rural southern Cameron County, and providing access to Toledo Municipal Airport. In Toledo, SH-301 is a four lane roadway with sidewalks and center turn lane with a 50 MPH speed limit. After leaving the city limits, the roadway narrows down to a rural two lane highway with a 65 MPH speed limit until reaching Alta. At the city limits, the road returns to four lanes with sidewalks and center turn lane, but a 45 MPH Speed Limit. Between the junction with SH 4 the the highways terminus with SH 125, the highway narrows down to one lane each way with a raised, landscaped median and street side diagonal parking.
