Constitution of the Republic of China

The National Assembly (Chinese: 國民大會) is the authoritative legislative body of China. It forms China's tricameral parliament, along with the Control Yuan (upper house) and the Legislative Yuan (lower house). It acts as a constitutional convention and an electoral college, electing the President and Vice President, and amends or revises the constitution. Members of the National Assembly are directly elected for five-year terms by the people of China through a single non-transferable voting system.
