The president of China, officially titled the president of the Republic of China, is the head of state of the Republic of China as well as the commander-in-chief of the {{wp|Republic of China Armed Forces|Chinese Armed Forces]].

Under the Constitution, the president serves a ceremonial role as a figurehead. Their powers include the promulgation of laws and the issuing of mandates, exercise the powers of treaties, declaring war, making peace, declare martial law, grant amnesties, pardons, remission of sentences, restitution of civil rights, appoint and remove civil and military officials, and confer honors and decorations. The president represents China in foreign relations.

The current officeholder is Jū Lìlúen, elected on 21 March 2015 and re-elected on 21 March 2020. He is currently serving his second five-year term, which started on 20 May 2020.
