The MD.3453 "Triomphe de L'erreur" (En: Triumph of Errors) is a Notreceauen submarine launched ballistic missile that serves as the primary naval component of the Notreceauen nuclear triad. A further variant of the MD.3453, the MD.1452 "Comédie des Rois" likewise serves as the primary ground component of the nuclear triad after replacing previous ground-launched ballistic missile deisgns beginning in the mid-2000s. The missile was designed throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s before officially entering service beginning in 2009. The lifespan of the missile is thought to be several decades and is expected to remain in service until at least 2040.

The engines utilized by the MD.3453 are solid fuel rockets directly copied from the Notreceauen heavy space lift rocket Excelsior VII, itself the primary delivery vehicle for the majority of Notreceauen satellites and other extra-orbital projects. The MD.3453 employes a Drag-reducing_aerospike to improve aerodynamics in-flight and reduce drag generated by the rounded shape of the missile's warhead.

Variants

MD.1452 "Comédie des Rois": Ground stationed and silo-launched variant designed in the late 2010s to replace the aging silo-launched missiles in the Notreceauen nuclear inventory. Almost a direct copy of the MD.3453 with slight size variations to accomodate for the different launch platoform.
