The Phi'lasasam is the largest and most notable higher educational institution in all Rihan. It was founded in 1352 by Tellus who argued that the Rihannsu needed not just the strength of their arms, but that of their minds, if they were to be the very best people on Eurth. The exteriors of the original buildings, located in Dartha's Old City, have retained their appearance though the interiors have seen extensive renovations. These are home to the institution's administration and six lecture theatres. Located behind the central building is an outdoor lecture theatre. The Phi'lasasam is broken down into 32 distinct colleges. The institution has three additional campuses across the country in the cities of Peldred, Penvar, and Tephren.
