The Phi'lasasam is the largest and most notable higher educational institution in all Rihan with five campuses across the country in Dartha, Peldred, Rateg, Penvar, and Hlarak. It was founded 1352 by Tellus who argued that the Rihannsu needed not just the strength of their arms, but that of their minds, if they were to be the very best people on Eurth.
Many of the twelve original buildings of the Dartha campus, located in the heart of the Old City, remain in use today, abet with considerable interior renovation. The Cutæs, the outdoor lecture theatre, is built out of Kedossian marble. The Philosophy Department, one of the five units that can trace their organization backed to the institution's founding, use the outdoor space for daily philosophical debates and seminars.
There are 32 distinct colleges spread across the national campuses. All philosophy and law courses are only taught in native Rihanh.
