The Marrodan-class are a series of multipurpose guided missile frigates in service with the Carlosian Navy. The lead ship of the class is named after County Marrodan, keeping with the traditional Navy convention of naming frigate after counties. Serving primarily as anti-submarine and air defence warships, the Marrodan-class are intended to patrol international trade routes and operate close to the Carlosian mainland. They don't form part of carrier battle groups.
As of 2019, 52 ships are in active service.
