Argilian civilization
The Argilian civilization was a civilization in Lannonia that existed from the 11th century BCE to the 2nd century CE. It is named after Argilos, a city in modern-day Gostevia that was the first major Argilian settlement and one which all later Argilians claimed descent from. Until the 4th century BCE the Argilians were a group of kingdoms and cities based around the valley of the Arpesa river in Gostevia; from 377 to 360 BCE the state of Tamania unified the Argilian states and established the Meteoros Empire, spreading Argilian culture across Lannonia, and even seeding it in Mencia. Influenced by the Sepcans but also innovating themselves, the culture of the Argilians has a significant legacy in both Lannonian and Mencian civilization today.
