Variants
- PK-17: Prototype variant.
- K-17A: Single-seat all-weather multirole fighter version. First production variant.
- K-17B: Two-sweat trainer version. Retained all combat capabilities.
- K-17C: Improved single-seat multirole fighter. Entered service in 1995.
- K-17D: Improved two-sweat trainer. Entered service in 1995.
- K-24C/D Block 10: Modernisation programe launched in 2004. Features improved radar and avionics.
- K-24C/D Block 20: Further modernisation effort launched in 2010. Improved radar and avionics, as well as provisions for the addition of conformal fuel tanks.
- K-17N Sea Siren: Single-seat naval variant. Features foldable wings, heavier landing gear and a tailhook. Entered service in 2004.
- K-17E Red Siren: Avanced supermanuverable single-seat variant. Features 3D-vectoring engines, forward canards and a more advanced sensor suite. Accepted into service in 2018. 5 airframes have been delivered.

- Aetolia: The Aetolian Air Force operates 225 K-17C/Ds (mostly Block 20s) and 5 K-17Es. The Naval Aviation of the Aetolian Navy operates 45 K-17Ns.
