Variants
- PK-17: Prototype variant.
- K-17A: Single-seat all-weather multirole fighter version. First production variant.
- K-17B: Two-sweat trainer version. Retained all combat capabilities.
- K-17C: Improved single-seat multirole fighter. Entered service in 2014.
- K-17D: Improved two-sweat trainer. Entered service in 2014.
- K-24C/D Block 10: Modernisation programe launched in 2020. Features improved radar and avionics.
- K-17N Sea Siren: Single-seat naval variant. Features foldable wings, heavier landing gear and a tailhook. Entered service in 2004.

- Aetolia: The Aetolian Air Force operates 90 K-17C/Ds (mostly Block 20s). The Naval Aviation of the Aetolian Navy operates 36 K-17Ns.
