Princess Elisabeth, Duchess of East Lindblum (Elisabeth Maren Schäfer; born 19 July 1995), Her Royal Highness and Her Excellency Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, is the heir apparent to the Lindblumer throne. The eldest child of Regent Cid and Queen Consort Ursula, she acquired the title Duchess of East Lindblum as the first in line to the throne of the largest constituent state of Yohannes.
Born at the St Notburga Landungsbrücken (The Landing Bridges) Medical Centre in Altbrandenburg, Princess Elisabeth was educated at the state-integrated Mortzen an der (on the River) Breg Grammar School and attended the University of Yohannes to study conjoint law and commerce. Upon her graduation in 2016, Princess Elisabeth was chosen to become one of many promising interns for the World Assembly (WA) Mission of the Nineteen Countries, spending most of her time with student volunteers from the Free Kingdom of Allanea and the United Kingdom of Grays Harbor. She returned to Yohannes after one year to work part time at the specialist investment arbitration firm Walter Vogel in Pfullendorf, and partook in projects sponsored by foreign consular offices to promote Lindblumer sub-state diplomacy across policy domains.
Following the 2018 presidential election victory of Marion Maréchal-Le Men and the GOP, her father nominated Princess Elisabeth, in her role as heir apparent to the throne, to fill the largely ceremonial Office of Ambassador in the Valento-Elysian Empire. In September 2019, her candidacy was finalised before Parliament’s International Diplomacy and Advisory Committee, and following her accreditation she became the first Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Realm of Yohannes to the Kingdoms and Lands of Valentian Elysium.[1]
