Gabriel Lazar (until 1788: Gabriel Stan Szilágyi; 27 February 1761 – 24 November 1818) was a Sovascarian philosopher, revolutionary statesman, author, and chief architect of the Sovascarian Revolutionary Republic and thus an important ideological contributor to the modern Sovascarian Authority. Ideologically a secularist and libertarian, his political theories became known as Lazarism, while his spiritual views became known as Lazarist Universalism.
