Valden, officially the Kingdom of Valden (Valdenian: Kongeriket Valden) is a country in Western Aldinea, bordering West Engatia to the southeast, Mindras to the southwest, Saarvaland, Kreissau and Lingenburg to the west, Valgravia to the north, and a maritime border with Suavia. Valden has a total area of X square kilometres (X sq mi) and a population of 28,429,192 as of 2015.
The area that constitutes modern day Valden were fist unified in 876 by the Jarl of X as he conquered the petty kingdoms of Valden forming the first Kingdom of Valden. The Kingdom lasted for four centuries before being most of it was conquered by X, with the exception of a small northern section that became the Archduchy of Valden
