The Democratic Socialist People's Republic of Tropico (Spanish: República Popular Socialista Democrática de Trópico)was a unitary sovereign socialist state which existed between 1965 and 1992, coterminous with the present-day country of Tropico in the Caribbean Sea. It was ruled by the Tropican Socialist Worker's Party and maintained close links with the Soviet Union throughout its history.
