This is a list of political parties in Tarper.
The Parliament of the Federal Republic of Tarper, the Federal Council, and the Federal Assembly, has a plural multi-party system, with two major parties, the Socialist Party of Tarper (SP) and the Christian Democratic and Social Federation (CDSF).
Tarper also has a number of minor parties, in recent history most importantly the Communist Party (CPT), Green Liberation (GLU/ULV), Liberals (NLP), and more recently the Conservatives (CNP), founded in 2007. The federal government of Tarper consists of a coalition of a major and a minor party, specifically SP and GLU, SP and CPT or SP and CDSF (Grand Coalition). Since 2017, the federal government consists of a coalition of three parties.
Coalitions in the Bundestag and state legislatures are often described by party colors. Party colors are red for the Socialists, cyan for the Greens, maroon for the Communists, blue for the Christian Democrats, buff for the Liberals, and dark blue for the Conservatives.
