TAAM, legally the National Company of Amathian Air Transports "TAAM" (Amathian: Ⰽⱁⰿⱂⰰⱀⰹⰰ Ⱀⰰⱌⰹⱁⱀⰰⰾⱐ ⰴⰵ Ⱅⱃⰰⱀⱄⱂⱁⱃⱅⱆⱃⰹ Ⰰⰵⱃⰹⰵⱀⰵ Ⰰⰿⰰⱚⰹⰵⱀⰵ "ⰕⰀⰀⰏ" , tr. Compania Națională de Transporturi Aeriene Amathiene "TAAM") is the state owned flag carrier of Amathia, being the largest airline operating in Amathia based on fleet size and passangers carried. The headquarters and main hub of TAAM are in the Cyriacus the Great Airport of the Amathian capital of Arciluco.
TAAM is an acronym for the Amathian Transporturi Aeriene Amathiene, Amathian Air Transports. It was initially used strictly as the airline's callsign, but it was chosen as a brand name and later as its official name in 1985, during a massive reorganization program, delegating the unwieldy original name to legal situations. Despite plans of a more coherent privatization, TAAM continues to operate as a state-owned enterprise, with over 80% of its shares being owned by the Amathian state, through the Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, and Communications.
