TAAM, legally the Central Company of Amathian Air Transports "TAAM" (Amathian: Ⰽⱁⰿⱂⰰⱀⰹⰰ Ⰽⰵⱀⱅⱃⰰⰾⱐ ⰴⰵ Ⱅⱃⰰⱀⱄⱂⱁⱃⱅⱆⱃⰹ Ⰰⰵⱃⰹⰵⱀⰵ Ⰰⰿⰰⱚⰹⰵⱀⰵ "ⰕⰀⰀⰏ" , tr. Compania Centrală de Transporturi Aeriene Amathiene "TAAM") is the flag carrier of Amathia, one of the oldest still operating airlines in the world, as well as the largest airline in the country based by number of destinations and passengers. Its name is an acronym for "Amathian Air Transports" in Amathian, initially used strictly as the airline's callsign, but it was chosen as a brand name and later as its official name in 1985. TAAM operates as a state-owned company, with the Government of Amathia owning a majority of its shares, but attempts have been made to further privatize it with a focus on profitability. The headquarters and main hub of TAAM are in the "Cyriacus the Great" Airport of the Amathian capital of Arciluco, from where most of its flights originate, with the company focusing mostly on continental destinations, but it also operates flights to Coius and to Asteria. TAAM has been a member of - since -.
