The Tynic Commission (TK) is an important regional intergovernmental organisation in the Tynic Sea formed by the nations making up its coastline. Founded in 1956 after a series of disputes the organisation has authority over four key areas; trade within the Tynic Sea and out/ingoing trade, the shipping lanes of the sea as well as who can use them, handing out fishing quotas, as well as search and rescue. These are regulated through various sub-ministries spread out over various member-states.
