The Farmers' Party (West Crylantian: "Partita Agricolarum", East Crylantian: "Landmændpartiet") is a agrarian, civic nationalist and green conservative political party in the Crylantian Federation.
It is the oldest party within the nation, having been founded to represent the interests of rural East Crylantian voters in 1916. Throughout the time of the Principality of Crylante, it entered coalition with both the Reform Party and the Trúathi Party over the years, and upon the rise of the Socialist Party, it initially tried offering confidence and supply to the Socialists, however this fell through and the party could not increase its vote share. After the new constitution was drafted in 1941, it entered a perpetual coalition with the Reform Party, the Socialist Party and the Trúathi Party, offering support to the welfare state built by the Socialist Party in the early 1940's.
Today it is a party representing the agricultural sector and small business, with the key values of environmental protection, political decentralisation, opposition to free trade and a social market economy. It supports high import tariffs and agricultural subsidies as an extension of this. It also takes a moderately socially conservative stance on the issues of abortion and euthanasia, though it is neutral on the issue of soft drugs in Crylante, and advocates a strongly isolationist foreign policy.
The party is currently the largest party in the States' Assembly, the third-largest party in the People's Assembly and holds one seat in the National Council, which has been held since 2001 by Saria De Quintus, who is the current leader of the party.
