Project Richtendorf (Projekt Richtendorf), officially the Society for the Procurement of Alternative Supplies (Verein für Alternativ-Versorgungsgüterbeschaffung), was the nuclear weapons research program undertaken by the Englean Empire during the Second Great War. Started shortly after the discovery of nuclear fission by Dr. Adelbert Weizmann in 1938, the program was deemed an "essential priority" by Emperor Wilhelm III after the invasion by Rezua in (DATE HERE). This designation by the Emperor allowed the program materials and support from the Imperial Armed Forces, which designated the site of research to be the Leiffau Test Range outside the city of Richtendorf. The original goal of the program was the development of a nuclear weapon to be used against Rezua, with the secondary target becoming the Empire of the Tao after the Taoist Invasion of Neu-Breissau in 1941. In 1943, Projekt Richtendorf was combined with the Rhodeve atomic weapon program which culminated in the first Englean nuclear weapon in 1944 - codenamed Pazifik-Gerät.
