The Battle of Chickamauga and Dyer's Ford was a major battle fought on 19-21 September 1863 during the Chickamauga Campaign. The Republican victory ended a Royalist offensive that was intended to push the Army of Tennessee and the Archadian Southern Expeditionary Army into southern Georgiusa.
