The Federal Police Service is the national law enforcement agency of Bakyern. The Bundespolizeidienst was founded in 1903 under the name of the Staatspolizeidienst (English: State Police Service). Following the beginning of the Federal government, it was renamed to the Federal Police Service. A child agency of the Federal Police is the Bundeslandpolizei which is in charge of dealing with state laws and only has jurisdiction in their states compared to the Federal Police Service which has jurisdiction over all of Bakyern.
