Karsae is the most populous city in Huvakia. Located along the mouth of the Audae Rivee, Huvakia's largest river, the historical and modern area of Karsae have flourished as a major hub for trade.
History
The areas that define the state of Karsae today reflect only a portion of the kingdoms original borders. In early history Karsae had fended off three invasions by other neighboring kingdoms and nomadic tribes. Around 1738 The Empire of Huvakia first became interested in the Kingdom of Karsae, who controlled access to the largest river in the land, and also had a comfortable watch over the mouth of the Aegaean Sea. Karsae was initially uninterested in opening formal relations with the growing Imperial Huvakian state. Possessing ready access to virtually any resource Huvakia could offer, Karsae had no need for an Influence it had never known. Deciding to impose its peace Huvakia tried like many invaders before it to subdue to Kingdom. After capturing some outlying territory the seemingly unstopable army of Huvakia was stalled in the summer of 1758. A second offensive was launched in 1761 with renewed attempts in both phases of Huvakian expansion. Karsae continued to offer stiff resistance with Daemeter eventually forming the Federación de Libertad de Abos. After sustained fighting from both sides in the year 1856 the established peacekeeping forces of Huvakia, after establishing a land and naval blockade around Karsae delivered an ultimatum to the Karsean Royal Palace calling for the peacful incorporation of the Kingdom. Having exhausted its options the Kingdom of Karsae formally surrendered becoming a Federated State of the Empire of Huvakia.
