The Ossorian Armed Forces (Ossorian Gaelic: Fórsaí Armtha na hOsraí), are the military forces responsible for the defense of the High Kingdom of Ossoria, its overseas territories and dependencies. They also promote the Realm's wider interests, support international peacekeeping efforts and provide humanitarian aid to disaster areas.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces is the Monarch of Ossoria, currently Tara Ní Sionán, to whom all service members swear allegiance.
Today, the Armed Forces are comprised of the Royal Ossorian Navy, a blue-water navy consisting of over 300 commissioned ships and the Royal Marine Corps, a highly trained amphibious light infantry force; the Royal Ossorian Army, which serves as the primary ground warfare arm; the Royal Ossorian Air Force, an advanced air force operating a wide array of aircraft; and the Royal Ossorian Defense Force, which protects the Realm from strategic threats.
