The Territorial Assembly is the unicameral legislature of Saint Elizabeth. The Assembly has 41 members making it the largest Legislature out of every British Overseas Territory. The Assembly was formed after the suspension of the House of Assembly in 1996 after the British Government intervened following what the UN called the most undemocratic election in British History when the Far-Right People's Party won all 17 seats in the territory.
