Fakong (Nanzhouese: 法空) is a Nanzhouese state located in the South of the Country on the coast of the Gulf of TBD. The state borders Dongdao, Zhongyu and Baihe all to the north. Fakong is the largest state in terms of land area and population with approximately 16% of the Nanzhouese population living inside Fakong.

Historically most of the Fakongese region has been a separate entity from the rest of Nanzhou, this came to an end in 1655 when the Zaisheng Dynasty invaded the region bringing the region under full Nanzhouese rule for the first time in history.

Fakong has attemped to secede several times since this, the most recent when the Fakongese Chief Executive announced his intention to hold a referendum on independence and was arrested by Nanzhouese Authorities along with much of the State's Pro-Independence and Pro-Autonomy assembly members in 2018. In the following months the state was put into martial law throughout 2019 causing the deaths of 264 people at the hands of the Nanzhouese Authorities.

Fakong has the largest coastline in Nanzhou and is important to the Nanzhouese fishing industry with much of the State'es economy relying on the Fishing industry which receives large subsidies from the Government each year.
