Overview
The Federation of The Federated States of Federals is a large, socially progressive nation, renowned for its public floggings and suspicion of poets. The quiet, industrious population of 129 million Federated States of Federalasians have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.
The medium-sized government juggles the competing demands of Welfare, Law & Order, and Administration. The average income tax rate is 36.8%, but much higher for the wealthy.
The sizeable but inefficient Federated States of Federalasian economy, worth 3.01 trillion Uranium Coins a year, is led by the Tourism industry, with significant contributions from Beef-Based Agriculture, Uranium Mining, and Arms Manufacturing. Black market activity is notable. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 43,641 Uranium Coins, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.4 times as much as the poorest.
It is illegal to brush crumbs off your clothing outdoors, private law firms are unheard of, the military patrols the streets in search of possible secessionists, and no one engages in 'locker room talk' any more. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. The Federated States of Federals's national animal is the The Pistol shrimp, which frolics freely in the nation's sparkling oceans.
History
The Federalasian history goes way back into the early time of 215 B.C. after the Qin Dynasty's rise of power. The First Emperor of the Qin Dynasty, Qin Shi Huang, had a son named Qin Er Shi who had a second cousin named Zhang Jun. Zhang Jun fought in Qin's wars of unification then moved southeast with tribesmen and a small army. He conquered the land and called it Fedralasania establishing the first federalasian dyansty the Zhang Dynasty. There he established his empire and allied the Qin dynasty. Together they conquered the Zhou Dynasty and the other six of the Seven Warring States.
After the fall of the Qin Dynasty and the rise of the Han Dynasty, Zhang Jun was unable to keep up supply of food and money to his people and the Zhang Dynasty, too fell. A new dynasty arose called the Chao Dynasty which caused many problems. The Chao dynasty was led by an evil general named Fu Liang. Fu was a psychopathic emperor who executed thousands of villagers for fun. This caused the villagers to form a rebellion known as the Lan Shi Clan. The emperor and the Lan Shi clan went into war for over 13 years. This war is known as the Sukuni war. Thousands of tribesmen were killed and eventually the whole country went into a famine. Food was very scarce and typical of the emperor, he demanded more food than Fedralasania had. Eventually the emperor ate a bad peice of meat and died of food poisoning. Federalasian historians consider this the end of the Chao Dynasty. For 2 years the country was in a depression but then the Japanese came in and took over. The Japanese conquered Fedralasania in 13 B.C. and renamed it Federalasia. The new emperor Akiro Takahashi came into power and ruled the Nara Dynasty.
For several hundred years the Nara Dynasty ruled Federalasia. In 387 A.D. The current emperor of Federalasia Dichi Yamamoto, got sick and died from unknown causes. The new emperor was different, stronger yet humble. The new emperor Naiko Nakamura was a pacifist. His rise to power marked the beginning of "Heiwa jidai" or The Peace Era. This era lasted over 900 years until the year 1348 when the black plague began to spread.
The black plague spread to Federalasia and killed 20,000 Federalasians over a period of 7 years. This Marked the end of the Nara Dynasty. In 1355 the Europeans flooded into the country and battled for ownership. Because of the recent pandemic the small infantry of Federalasia was no match for the European's weapons. The Europeans had a great influence on modern day Federalasian culture. The Europeans brought food, art, religion, language, weapons and much more. This event was known as "The European Influence". The European influence led to the formation of the language Grabushka, which is a mix of English, French, Albanian, Japanese, Chinese, Russian and German.
The Europeans held power switching between British, Albanian and French rule, but in 1950 The People's Republic of China made a deal with the British and Federalasia became a state of China. In 1961 Fedederalasia declared independence and established a Federation and then became The Federation of The Federated States of Federalasia.
Immigration, Expansion, Industrialization
The European Influence greatly helped Federalasia succeed today. In the 1800s, The start of the Industrial revolution happened. The British brought federalasia advanced technology never seen before. Before the Industrial revolution, Federalasia was still very primitive. Europeans introduced machinery that helped federalasia thrive. The British introduced the water wheel and steam engines to Federalasia. The British Built a large railway system in Federalasia that is still used today.
In 1965 there was a large influx of immigrants to Federalasia. This urbanization had a big influence on modern day Federalasia. Foreigners supplied a surplus of labor but also created more jobs for the people. This spurred economic growth and prosperity. National infrastructure including telegraph and transcontinental railways allowed greater settlement and development of modern day society.
Throughout the years Federalasia became friendly with many countries. They helped many poor countries and fought in several small countries. In return these countries granted visas and jobs to many Federalasians. Today Federalasia has 25 embassies spread throughout Asia and eastern Europe. Federalasian diplomats made a deal with their neighbors Kyrgyzstan to gain more land in return for an embassy. This purchase of land was known as The Shantu Purchase.
Geography, Climate and Environment
The 25 contiguous states take up a total land mass of 735,294km2. Measured only by landmass, The Federated states of Federalasia is 14th in size right behind Saudi Arabia and in front of Indonesia. The costal plain of the Persian Gulf seaboard gives way further inland to deciduous forests and the rolling hills of the Bahra plateau
The Shabari Mountain range divides The Great Nichi Plains from the Inja River System. The Inja River system, the worlds 8th largest river system, runs east-west through the upper heart of the country. The Inja River System has been the main source of irrigation, for the 14% of Land that is arable in the country, for hundreds of years. The Shabari Mountain range is home to the tallest mountain in Federalasia and western Asia. Za Kuraimu, or "The Climb", is the largest mountain and the highest point in Federalasia, reaching the astonishing height of 21,310 feet or 6,495 meters. Wildlife and Conservation
The Federalasian ecology is megadiverse: about 15,500 species of vascular plants in the contiguous Federalasia, and more than 1,300 species of flowering plants are found in the Bintu state. Federalasia is home to 394 mammal species, 512 bird species, 342 reptile species and 113 amphibian species, as well as about 87,000 insect species. Most of this land is protected, though some is leased for oil and gas drilling, mining, logging, or cattle ranching, and about .49% is used for military purposes.
Environmental issues include debates on oil and nuclear energy, deforestation, air and water pollution and global warming. The protection of the environment and animals within is also a very big deal. In 1978 President Felix Janmati ordered a group assembled dedicated to help preserve and protect wildlife. A year later The Endangered Wildlife and Species Act (EWSA) was signed protecting all endangered wildlife and endangered species from being tampered with.
