Armée Territoriale de Lieuaban is a three branch defense force of the Senatorial Republic of Lieuaban, and part of its Ministère de l'Intérieur. The Armée Territoriale is an all volunteer force except in times of great need, and is charged with the defense of Lieuaban from both external and internal aggression. Over 740 thousand soldiers are enlisted in the Armée Territoriale, of which over 500 thousands of those are in an active status.
In recent years, the mission of the Armée Territoriale has been counter insurgency within the borders of Lieuaban, fighting dozens of factions who have established themselves in rural areas of the large nation. The forces of the Armée Territoriale are stretched thin throughout the borders of Lieuaban, unable to control the entirety of the war torn nation and thus defending as many trade and supply routes, as well as urban centers it can manage. The Armée Territoriale works in close conjunction with foreign allies such as Notreceau.
