Zvakawanda is a district in Rwizikuru, which as of the 2011 census is the fourth-most populous district in the country, with 2.3 million inhabitants living in the district. It is home to the sixth-largest city of Rwizikuru, Rutendo, which serves as the district seat. It is bordered to the southwest by Ndarira, to the west by Hunidzakafa, to the northwest by Mumbengegwi, to the north by Dzakakwirira, to the east by Parunoguma, and to the southeast by the Maccan Sea.
