Operation Pelekys was a Syaran offensive to capture the Zala Peninsula in northern Ruvelka.

The Zala Peninsula was a target for Syaran forces of 2nd Army after the bloody figthing of 2009. The intention was to capture the peninsula in order to place long range munitions and weapon systems to target Mateszalka and potentially sink Ruvelka naval vessels and shipping coming into port. The Syarans began their offensive on 22 January 2010 with diversionary attacks further south along the coast, then followed up with a drive into Zala. The Ruvelkans did not consider Zala strategically significant and did not mount a serious defense of the peninsula, withdrawing their troops from Zala between 27-29 January. Syaran forces had secured Zala by the 30th, ending the operation.

Despite Syaran hopes, using Zala as a springboard for attacks did not materalize due to a variety of reasons, including insufficient ranged weapons and adjustments made on Ruvelkan travel routes with kept cargo ships out of range of Syaran anti-ship batteries. Interference from the Ruvelkan Imperial Navy also prevented the Syarans from exploiting their success.
