Second Army is assigned to Realm Force Galania for the land based defense of Galania. 2nd Army is composed of three corps, I, III, V, in additional to 11 brigades and regiments.

History

2nd Army was stood up in October 2005 just a few weeks after the conclusion of the Imerti Conflict escalation with Ruvelka. Following the outbreak of the Zemplen War 2nd Army was assigned to Army Group Alpha in the northern section of the border, under the command of Colonel General Vedran Kučina. 2nd Army played a supporting role during the Battle of Sarud and fought several major engagements during the Ruvelkan Winter Counter-Offensive. As part of Operation Harpe 2nd Army assualted the city of Kaposvár, later capturing it along with tens of thousands of Ruvelkan prisoners. 2nd Army was the main target of Operation Overshadow in September 2009, after which the Army remained on the defensive until March 2010, when it conducted several local offensives within it's area of operations. During Operation Homefront 2nd Army was again targetted to pin down its forces while the rest of Army Group Alpha was forced to retreat. 2nd Army provided cover for the Army Group's retreat and was continuing operations on the Syaran-Ruvelkan border when the conflict ended. After the war, 2nd Army was reorganized into Realm Force Galania, under the leadership of its Zemlen War comamnder now Field Marshal Kučina.
