Clara Martin (Clara Gabrielle Ema Martin-Sanchez) is a renowned Acronian-Brystic actress, socialite, model, and philanthropist. Born in Lionsgate in 1990 to upper middle class Acronian-Karmieli jewish parents, Martin's parents relocated from Lionsgate to Defense when she was 10 years old, in 2000. She is married to Gerard Canillac, the heir of House Canillac of Brytene. She won the title of Miss Atlas 2015, and has received a number of awards for her works in the film and modeling industries.

Early life
Clara was born in Saint James Hospital, Lionsgate, on the 24 November 1990, the second of three children of Alexandre and Marye Martin-Sanchez. She resided in the Lovejoy area of Lionsgate, a neighborhood in the city which was, and continues to be a predominantly-jewish area. Clara attended Knewth Lake Elementary School, where she was described by teachers as an above-average student with a natural aptitude for a multitude of subjects, who cooperated well with her peers. Clara then attended West Lovejoy Middle School, before being accepted into Reginald Jamieson High School. She graduated the school as class valedictorian in 2008.

Clara is married to Gerard Canillac of Brytene, the current heir to the titles and fortunes of the powerful House Canillac. The two met in Victory Park, Defense, where Gerard's sister, Celeste, was performing in a concert. She describes herself as fluent in English, French, and Spanish, while also being proficient in Hebrew. She currently resides with her husband and his family in the Chateau Canillac, located in Whitebay, Brytene.

Clara's mother, Marie Martin-Sanchez, is a jewish first generation immigrant to Acronius who moved with her parents to Lionsgate from Karmiel in 1985. Clara's father, Alexandre Martin-Sanchez, immigrated to Acronius himself, pursuing a career as a miner mainly operating in the Barbier Mountains on Sheridan Island. Marie made a successful living by opening and operating a jewelry line that she eventually expanded throughout Acronius. By 1988, Alexandre had been promoted to the position of manager in the Garrison Bluff Mine, in the inner sector of the Barbier Mountains, before eventually being transferred to Lionsgate, where he continued to work in the mining industry as a senior advisor.
Marie and Alexandre met when the former's jewelry line filed a demand for precious minerals and ores, predominantly diamonds. Following an eight-month courtship, the pair became engaged, and another three months later, they were married by the State of Sheridan Island, on New Year's Eve of 1990. Ancestral records confirm that Marie's maternal grandfather was the second Prime Minister of Karmiel, Mordecai Penzik, while Alexandre's father, Yves, served at the rank of Corporal First Class in the V Legion of the Acronian Ground Force during the Great War II. Clara has an older brother, Paul (born in 1987), and a younger sister, Léa (born in 1997).
