Kuribayashi Tower is the headquarters of the Kuribayashi Arms firm and the seat of Clan Kuribayashi, located in the city of Contwaraburg in the Canton of Anglaland in Brytene. Constructed in 1997, it is one of the more striking buildings along the riverfront of Contwaraburg.
Construction
Ground was broken on the site on the 1st of May 1997, under the supervision of architect Sergio d'Urazzo and Walder-Deorham Limited. Construction took just short of seven months, with the building officially opened on the 1st January 1998. It was constructed primarily of steel and glass, and cost approximately 750 million NSD to build.
History
The Kuribayashi Tower was opened at 12:01AM New Year's Day 1998, as the highlight of a New Year's Eve celebration held by the Clan Kuribayashi. Since that time it has functioned as the headquarters of the Kuribayashi Arms firm and also as the seat of Clan Kuribayashi.
Tony Idai of IDAItech worked here for several years, before launching his own technical engineering company with financial backing from Kuribayashi Arms.
Structure and layout
With forty-two floors above ground and six underground, the Tower tapers towards the top and is angled directly north-south. The floors are laid out as follows:
- 41 and 40 - Penthouse suites belonging to the Clan
- 39 to 36 - Private offices and conference rooms
- 35 Guest quarters
- 34 to 27 - Research and Development
- 26 - Security
- 25 to 11 - Administration and staff offices
- 10 - Security
- 9 - Visitor centre
- 8 - Shibe Teppan Yaki Grill, Kawasaki Sports Bar
- 7 - Staff canteen
- 6 to 2 - Administration and staff offices
- 1 - Medical and pastoral facilities
- Ground floor - Lobby, security
