The Effendi family is an aristocratic military family and business dynasty from what is now Sharifistan. It has a history of military service to the Ottoman Empire (and later the Sultanate of Sharifistan) going back to 1303, a connection to the Khan dynasty of Sharifistan going back to 1930 and involvement in the business of private military contracting going back to 1950.
