History
The Ashleigh family is a Munkcestrian family that has a history of allegiance to the Munkcestrian Republic and professional service to the Munkcestrian security services (for example in the Munkcestrian Constabulary or intelligence service) going back to at least Christenbread Ashleigh. It's most famous member is Sultan Ed Ashleigh and he was the most famous even before his engagement to Khadijah Khan due to his friendship with George Fenwick II. Betrothed in December 2020, Ed Ashleigh married Sultana Khadijah Khan in May 3rd 2021 (29 days after her 16th birthday). This lead to a rift between Ed Ashleigh and George Fenwick II.
