Fleet
The Skip fleet began with Cheppali 779-200ER aircraft acquired from its parent airline, Royal Tennai Airlines, and reconfigured with a new seating layout. The airline had planned to operate a fleet of 150 aircraft by 2016. On 24 October 2012, Skip announced that parent company Royal Tennai Airlines would be transferring 20 Cheppali 789-9 Dreamliners it had on order to Skip to replace Skip's current fleet of Boeing 779-200s.
Skip retired all six of its Cheppali 779-200ERs by August 2013 and moved to an 'all-Cheppali 789' fleet, following the delivery of the first of ten Cheppali 789-9s on 2 February 2013 and the first of ten Cheppali 789-8s in mid-2013.
