The Arsyan-Krenyan Friendship Treaty of 1898, more formally known as the Mutual Assistance Memorandum on the State of Relations between the Arsyan Confederation and the Krenyan Realms, was a friendship treaty between the Krenyan Realms and the Arsyan Confederation signed in 1898 that established the two countries' formal and friendly relationships with one another. It was signed on the 17th of April 1898 in Sangur, the capital of the Arsyan Confederation by delegate Suverei Herens of the Krenyan Realms and King Gtēši II of the Arsyan Confederation.
The treaty was reinforced several times throughout history, especially in the early 20th century. There has been debate on whether the treaty is still enforced after the creation of Gabrielland in 1927, although the general consensus is that Friendly relations still continue after the formation of the country, even though the Arsyan Realms are not free to promulgate and create their own foreign policies. It was finally mentioned in the 1987 session of parliament regarding trade with the rest of Thuadia as a whole, targetting Krenya as a possible export destination of Gabrielt products.
Contained within the treaty is the mutual construction of embassies in the respective countries and the free and formal declaration of peace between the two sides. The first ambassadors were sent in 1899 upon the completion of both embassies, and the first continuation of the treaty in the form of latter trade dealsw ere created and negotiated as early as 1900, with the Mutual Trade Assistance Treaty. Many of the provisions present in the treaty directly mentioned the treaty of 1898, and was a major step forward in international trade for both nations.
