The 2016 Vonzumierian general election will be held on 4 and, if necessary, 18 June 2021. Legislative elections are held concurrently with the presidential election to elect members of the House of Deputies. Incumbent president Ernst Greifelt is running for a second term.
The presidential election occurs via a two-round system. If no candidate secures 50%+1 of the vote in the first round, the election advances to a second-round runoff between the two most-voted candidates.
