Constellation Satellite Navigation System
The Constellation Satellite Navigation System (CSNS) is a satellite navigation system in Septentrion. Originally a Vinyan Union project, it is now jointly run and maintained by Menghe, Hallia, Dayashina, and the Vinyan Union, led by Tír Glas. As of 2020, the system has 22 operational satellites in its global network, with additional satellites for regional precision augmentation. Commercial CSNS receivers can achieve an accuracy of one meter when using simple broadcast ephemeris references, and close to one centimeter with encrypted real-time corrections available to specially approved users. CSNS is widely used for civilian purposes, including ship navigation and cellphone location tracking, and it also serves as a weapon guidance system for its member states and their customers.
