Finite and Precious was a Galania-class battleship of the Navy of the Syaran Republic. Launched in 1927, she was the fourth ship of her class. Like her sister ships, her design had rendered her outclassed by foreign counterparts while still being constructed. Following the outbreak of the Siduri War the Finite and Precious took part in shore bombardment along the coast of Mansuriyyah and in late November 1935 was assigned to Delta Cluster of the National Fleet to take part in Operation Scylla.
During the primary fighting in the morning of 24 November the Finite and Precious engaged elements of the Cacertian fleet while attempting to outflank the 1st Battle Squadron. The ensuing battle with the 1st Battlecruiser and 1st Cruiser Squadrons resulted in heavy exchanges of gunfire, but at 08:15 the Finite and Precious was hit four times which destroyed her rear turret. An attempted turn towards the east to return fire resulted in hits against the Cacertian battlecruisers Morena Quintilian and Narciso Jacobo, at the cost of another hit on the Syaran battleship below the waterline. Another two hits resulted in the detonation of her rear magazine which caused her to founder and prompted the retreat of the rest of Delta Cluster. 433 of her 1,800 assigned crew were picked up out of the water.
