Case Slate or the Fall of Tatabanya (21 April 1942 - 30 May 1942) was the Imperial operation to capture the Aurucolian capital city of Tatabanya. The fall of Tatabanya was a blow to the Aurucolians and a success for the Imperials, who had been seeking for the opportunity to demoralize the Aurucolians. While the operation was wholly successful for the Imperials, the Aurucolians fought a bitter street-by-street skirmish against the invading Calvardians and Imperials, buying time for the Aurucolians to rearm in the Northern and Central province.
