Coat of Arms of Amrelia, created in 1790

The Coat of Arms of Amrelia has its roots in the Amrelian Revolution of 1790. The Second Republic had just been overthrown and a federal state was announced with a Union of 14 states. The Coat of Arms features the national motto, "CONCORDIA NATIONE LIBERTATIS" in Latin which means "Unity, Nation, Liberty." On the left side stands Lady Amrelia, the national personification, with a Phrygian cap; on the right is a variation of Lady Justice. The Eye of Providence is present at the top. In the center, there are 14 shields bound by a unifying chain with the state abbreviations, representing the unity of the several states; furthermore, there are several arms featuring emblems such as the Amrelian Star, a French fleur-de-lis, and Celtic harp signifying the nation's cultural diversity and history.
